While I fully support the solo workout approach, there’s something special about breaking a sweat alongside other people who are driven to obtain results, like a small group training class. The positive energy that comes from working out as a group is a truly unique experience for both the members and the certified coach who designs and teaches the class.
As someone who’s been on both sides of the small group training coin, I can appreciate the added motivation and encouragement you receive when you’re a participant. Meanwhile, running a group training class like Full Body Strength gives me a chance to not only put together some challenging and unorthodox workouts but also engage with both familiar and new faces on a routine basis.
Benefits of Small Group Training
If you’ve never given small group training a go, YouFit is a great place to start this new chapter of your gym journey. In addition to being a fun way to interact with members of your community, here are some of the other benefits of participating in a group class:
- Taught by a certified personal trainer, which means you’ll be working directly with someone who has the knowledge and experience to help put you on a results-oriented path.
- Only 10 people per class, which means you’ll get individualized attention and not get stressed about not having enough space or equipment to complete the workout.
- Modified movements, which means you’ll have options tailored to your fitness level and needs, such as a return from injury.
What Small Group Training Classes Does YouFit Offer?
Looking to increase your mobility? Want to build the backside of your dreams? Need to trim some inches of your waistline for an upcoming trip? Whatever your goal may be, YouFit has a wide range of Small Group Training classes designed for specific purposes.
Our current lineup includes three staples, with two new ones ready to make their debut:
Glutes & Abs Strength
Available in 30, 40, and 50-minute forms, this full-body workout targets your glutes and your abs. Exercises aimed at shaping, toning, and tightening those two areas will test your physical and mental limits.
Be prepared to feel the burn as you perform bridges, squats, crunches, planks–and everything else your trainer puts on the muscle-building menu.
Full Body Strength
Formerly known as HIIT+, Full Body Strength takes advantage of the benefits of circuit training by incorporating a variety of functional movements and equipment. This form of high-intensity interval training is a terrific way to add lean muscle, burn body fat, and expand your exercise repertoire.
Just don’t be surprised if you find yourself battling some ropes or pushing a loaded sled down the turf at some point!
Stretch & Recover
You won’t make progress if you don’t focus on the most overlooked aspect in fitness: recovery. The Stretch & Recover class won’t leave you out of breath like Full Body Strength, but it will provide you with the tools and understanding of how breathing, foam rolling, and flexibility exercises can enhance the recovery process.
Show your body the love and care it deserves–especially if you want to be at your best for your next workout.
